Micah Davis-Johnson is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst®, member of the CFA Institute, a Certified Public Accountant and valuable member of our client relationship team. As an Investment Strategist, he collaborates with the firm’s Investment Committee members to ensure that Cribstone’s investment philosophy and portfolio models optimally address the objectives of all our clients. To this end, he leads the development of customized asset allocation strategies, sector and individual security analyses in addition to other essential aspects of investment management. Micah is ideally equipped to facilitate the seamless transition to new portfolio software, as warranted, and to keep the firm current on domestic and international financial markets, relevant government regulations, changes in fiduciary standards, current tax law and proposed changes.
Micah joins Cribstone from Acadia Trust, where he served as Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager. He was also key to the firm’s Investment Committee, researching and recommending securities for client portfolios and implementing asset allocation and financial planning strategies. In his earlier role as Senior Associate Financial Counselor at the Colony Group, Micah provided high net worth individuals with a range of wealth management services including portfolio strategies, tax analysis, estate planning and cash flow analysis. Prior to that, he worked at Ernst & Young for four years, performing audit and assurance reviews as well as financial statement analysis within both the audit and M&A/transaction services practice areas. Micah also serves on the Strategy and Development Committee for the Maine Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Micah is a two-time graduate of Boston College, from which he earned both his Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA) and Bachelor of Science with a major in finance and accounting. An enthusiastic runner, golfer and sports fan who enjoys spending time with friends and family, Micah lives in South Portland, Maine with his wife Nicole and two daughters, Hannah and Charlotte.
